This original, monochrome, copperplate engraving – Magpie of the Island of New Caledonia – is from The World or the Present State of the Universe Being a General and Complete Collection of Modern Voyages and Travels, which was published in London in 1810. It was drawn and engraved by John Eastgate. This print, which is in excellent condition, measures 11.25” X 9.0” with a platemark at 9.0” X 7.0”. It is in an acid-free environment and shrink wrapped for protection. The shrink wrap may cause some glare in the photos. Please email questions or for additional pictures.
