18th Century Copperplate Engraving - Johannes Kip (Attributed)

This original, hand colored, copperplate engraving - Glamms House - was printed in the late 18th century, probably in Edinburgh, Scotland. Based on its size and style, It is attributed to Johannes Kip though it is unsigned by the artist. The print, which is in excellent condition, measures 16.5" X 21.75" with a window of 11.5" X 16.75". There is some unobtrusive oxidation of the blue watercolor in the sky. A brief history of Glamms House (Glamis Castle) accompanies the print. It is in an acid-free environment and shrink wrapped for protection. The shrink wrap may cause some glare in the photos. Please email questions or for additional pictures.
