Two 1895 BARBOUR Irish Thread Advertising Paper Dolls. Hard to believe these are almost two hundred and twenty six years old. They are in near perfect condition. Both have movable hands and head. Each one has a small crease at their neck. That's it! no other damage. These paper dolls were given out in 1895 as advertisements for Barbour's Irish Flax Threads (established 1784) and then celebrating One Hundred and Twelve years of progress. There were twelve dolls given away at the time and each doll carries a list of exactly what they were on the inside or their backs. I believe these are CHINA and JAPAN.
