Handpainted mid to late 1800's Magic Lantern Slide with illustrations of children playing. This very fanciful and colorful slide features a boy and girl in a wagon drawn by two goats, a boy and girl riding bicycles and two boys and a girl playing the old-time hoop and stick game. It's constructed of two pieces glass with paper around the edges holding them together. The paper is chipping and the black background has crackled a bit with age. There are no cracks to the glass. A very special piece, and one of several I currently have for sale. It measures about 10-1/2" in length by 3-1/4" high. Please let me know if you have any questions.
