Vintage Solid Sterling Silver Mesh Purse / Handbag. This lovely mesh bag measures approx 5-3/8" wide x 5-1/2" tall. With chain measures approx. 13" long. The clasp closes snug and securely. The balls on the clasp have some surface bumps from use. (see photos of this) Marked "STERLING SILVER" on the inside along with a maker's mark I can't identify. (Looks like a bee.) Monogrammed on the frame with three letters M.E.M. Two rings on either side of the hinges need to be re-hooked. Weighs 5.92 Troy Ounces.
