Return Policy
Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Please email within 3 days of purchase to confirm your order. Paypal payment is expected within 5 days of purchase order date. Check & Money order payment is expected within 10 days of purchase order date. Personal Checks and Money Orders Must Be Drawn On or Payable In U.S. Dollars. Items will be shipped once funds have cleared our account.

Buyer pays for actual shipping, handling and insurance. E-mail us your zip code and we will give you shipping cost. All shipping quotes include insurance and delivery confirmation unless otherwise discussed. Insurance is required on certain items. Preferred method of shipping domestically is USPS Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation.

Insurance fees (for US shipping) are 1.30 for up to $50; 2.20 up to $100 and over $100 $2.20 + $1 for each additional $100 of insurance. Worldwide insurance will be quoted at time of sale. We will not be responsible for lost or broken items that are not insured.

Restocking Fee:
Only for Layaway Purchase Plan Option, see below.

Other Information:
Sales tax applicable on sales made in New York State. E-mail us with your zip code for tax rate and amount.

LAYAWAY PURCHASE PLAN OPTION

We are pleased to offer layaway plans for purchases totaling $100 or more, not including shipping. The total may include multiple items totaling $100 or more;or a single item for $100.

A two-part payment plan is available for purchases of $100 to $300. 50% of the total will be due at the time of purchase. The balance including shipping charges will be due 30 days from the date on the purchase order. We will notify you when each payment is received and processed.

A three-part payment plan is available for purchases totaling $300 or greater. One-third of the total amount will be due at the time of purchase. The second payment of one-third of the total amount will be due 30 days from the date on the purchase order. The final payment of one-third the total amount including shipping will be due 60 days from the date of the purchase order. We will notify you when each payment is received and processed.

If a payment is late, there is a $10 late fee. Please note we reserve the right to terminate the payment plan at any time if payments are not received as scheduled. If the sale is canceled at some point, all monies will be refunded minus a restocking fee of 15% (of the total purchase price).

Once all payments are received and processed your items will be shipped to you. If you have any questions regarding this policy please do not hesitate to drop us a note or give us a call.
