Georges Briard Porcelainite Coffee Pot - Ambrosia Pattern (Ca. 1950's)

This is a fabulous Georges Briard coffee percolator in the Ambrosia pattern. Measures 8 3/4" tall, 8" across from spout to handle, 5 1/2" diameter base and 4 1/2" diameter top.

This coffee pot can be seen on the cover (and page 37) of the book "Designed and signed by Georges Briard" by Leslie Pina. "The handsomest oven-to-tableware of all! Triple-coated white porcelain enamel is ornamented with gay ambrosia or green garden motifs in rich gold and colorful enamels..." from the Porcelainite price list 1959.

Pineapple, strawberry abstract design is yellow, red, gold, and light blue. Metal is in good vintage condition. No dings or chips. Design has some wear on cover diamonds, gold rim, handle and dots around bottom. Also on glass stopper. Slight scratches on gold.

All parts are in order and included inside the pot.
