Vintage Red Glass Bead and Metal Necklace (ca. 1920's - 40's)

The original owner of this beautiful necklace told me she had it for at least 50 years. I believe that it is from the 1920's - 40's.

The repetitive design is made up of one red glass bead separated by 3 metal pieces that reflect the light. There is no clasp - just a single long continuous strand. I showed it double in the picture because it showed up better. It hangs 24" long. It is long enough that it can double over your head, or a clasp could be added.
