Vintage Sterling Silver and Turquoise Mexico Brooch Pin Rare 990

This very early sterling silver pin features a gorgeous turquoise cabochon in the center and detailed bead and rope work. The back is marked 990, a much less common purity for sterling silver. The brooch is in excellent condition and has not been polished for some time. I am leaving the aged patina for the next owner to decide whether they would like the shine of polished sterling. The pin measures 2 ¼ inches long and just under 1 inch wide in the center. The back has a simple C clasp and the pin is slightly “wavy” from the many years of use. The pin and clasp are secure. This wonderful early Mexican Sterling Silver brooch is a great addition to anyone’s vintage sterling or jewelry collection. It will arrives in a nice box ready for gifting.
