Vintage Sterling Silver Native American Thunderbird Brooch Pin Bell Trading Post

This gorgeous and detailed brooch features a classic Native American Indian form of the thunderbird. The pin is marked sterling and with a bell hallmark along with the word BELL. This hallmark is from the Bell Trading Post in Albuquerque New Mexico. This early mark dates the brooch to the late 1930’s. This figural thunderbird pin features traditional decorations. It is in very good condition and has not been polished for some time. I am leaving the aged patina for the next owner to decide whether they would like the shine of polished sterling. The pin measures 2 1/8 inches long and 7/8 inch tall at the center. It has a secure locking clasp with a slight bend in the pin from years of wear and use. The bend has no affect on the ability to close the pin and would be expected for a piece this old. This fabulous vintage Native American sterling brooch is a wonderful addition to anyone’s vintage or Native American Jewelry. It will arrive in a nice box ready for gifting.
