Here's a fabulous red glass bead dangle necklace to get really excited about!
By Stanley Hagler-Ian St. Gielar, this gorgeous piece has an intricately-beaded floral dangle and unusual diamond shaped translucent beads, all in vivid red, with creamy faux baroque pearl accents.
Hagler was considered the "Picasso of jewelry", and St. Gielar, who became his chief designer in the late '80s, continued Hagler's tradition of colorful and opulent jewelry that are superbly hand-crafted and embellished.
Our necklace displays all these fine qualities. The centerpieces is a red flower with hand-beaded petals. Two smaller florets in analogous shades of red sit in the center, while in between each petal is a baroque pearl floret. At its base are three dangles with diamond beads and baroque pearls.
The rest of the necklace is a strand of the diamond beads, with a small baroque pearl in between. Has a hook clasp. Total length of the necklace is 18" long. The floral centerpiece is almost a 3" drop and 1 1/2" wide.
It is signed Stanley Hagler N.Y.C. and Ian St. Gielar on two oval plaques at the back.
This floral beauty is in excellent condition, with no wear at all. Those beads, especially when light filters through, seem to flash fire!
