Consisting of a bracelet, brooch and a pair of earrings, this Schiaparelli set is hot, hot, hot (!) with its iridescent blue and purple aurora borealis crystals and lots of faux diamond rhinestones.

The design is definitely reminiscent of fire, with the large AB stones surrounded by flame-like tendrils of rhinestone pavé.

All pieces have large oval faceted crystals with polychrome coating in the blue-purple hues. The crystals flash with a rainbow of colors as well when hit by light.

The brooch has three of these AB crystals, surrounded by sinewy silvertone tendrils encrusted with rhinestones.

The bracelet is made up of links with a large AB crystal and a short pavé RS trail. Same with the earrings.

The brooch is 2 5/8" x 2", with a locking c-caslp. The bracelet is 7 1/2" x 3/4", and has a foldover clasp and a safety chain. The earrings are 1 1/2" x 3/4" clipbacks.

All the pieces have a super-shiny silvertone (probably rhodium) plating. The metal backing is similar to Austro-Hungarian construction in the '30s-40s, although this set is most likely from the latter part of the '50s.

All pieces are signed Schiaparelli in script, within oval plaques in the bracelet and brooch. In overall very good to excellent condition. The polychrome coating on the AB crystals has minor wear; the rhinestones are glitzy, and the silvertone is shiny.
