From the era of the over-the-top jewelry accessories comes this ultra-chunky pair of dangle earrings in the prettiest pink crackle lucite and with cute curlicue accents.

Wowee!!! Have not seen anything like this in a while (the last earring pair of comparable size and impact I've owned was a Schreiner, and that one did not come cheap, about $300!). Wowee!!!

Our pair of earrings (I guess you could call them shoulder dusters) features two large elements made of translucent pink lucite. The top is a 1 1/2" round, domed and hallowed out in the center to nestle in a large rivoli stone (also lucite) with silver foil.

Dangling from this round top is a 2" x 1 1/4" pear shaped lucite, faceted on either side to look like glass, and crackled within to bring out extra shimmery hues.

The top has four scroll-like gilt caps on either side and top and bottom. The dangle also has the same scroll cap.

Overall length of the earrings is 4"; width is 1 1/2". Its back is as pretty as the front, especially because of the scroll accent caps. Has goldtone clipbacks.

Unsigned, but reminiscent of Kenneth Jay Lane's oversize pieces from the same era, without the price tag. Our pair is in excellent shape. The top of one earring has a few scratches; does not affect the good looks at all. Original owner was kind to this pair; the clipbacks even have their original comfort pads intact.
