Red glitter to brighten winter - rhinestone brooch and earrings - very unusual setting

The sparkle from this brooch is off the chart. The rhinestones are set an angle, to catch and reflect the maximum amount of light. The effect is enhanced even further by the deeply curving sections on the outer edges of the brooch. There is absolutely no angle at which the light is not bouncing off this pin in a glittering red fire. Impossible to catch it with the camera's lens, but impossible to miss with the human eye.

I don't believe these pieces started out as a set, but they're a perfect marriage. The curves in the brooch are echoed in the sweeping outer rows of the earrings, and the red aurora borealis rhinestones are an excellent match. The only way to tell this isn't a true set is by looking at the different colored metals on the backs.

The brooch has a diameter of 2 1/4" and the earrings are 1 1/4" long. All stones are prong set, and the aurora borealis finish appears to be in very good condition.

These are vibrant, glittering pieces - perfect to brighten up the winter!
