Schiaparelli orchid pin - RARE and prized book piece

It seems as though the most beautiful pieces are always the hardest to photograph. This stunning Schiaparelli brooch is so dimensional, it was impossible to capture the glittering beauty of its deeply curving rhinestone petals.

This spectacular pin is featured on page 150 of Cherri Simonds' book, Collectible Costume Jewelry, in a different color. Although the brooch is unsigned, it is identified in Simonds' book as a rare Schiaparelli, based on matching signed earrings.

This is a significant piece, measuring 3 inches by 3 1/2 inches - and every inch is covered in a variety of shapes of the highest quality Austrian crystal rhinestones.

Condition appears to be very good. There is one small round rhinestone that may be damaged or may be crooked in the setting. I honestly can't tell which. Either way, it's virtually unnoticeable.
