Fanciful and fantastic, this graceful dragonfly figural brooch is signed "Hattie Carnegie" on back in an oval cartouche with a copyright symbol in the middle. Measuring 3 1/2" from tip to tail and 3" at its widest point, this lovely creature is the perfect size for any outfit.

Hattie Carnegie's design genius is once again at work in this fabulously fashionable brooch. The four bright, gold tone metal filigree wings are ornate and eye-catching. Eight lustrous, prong-set, graduated faux pearls make up the tail portion of the dragonfly. The body is a prong-set, turquoise colored plastic marquise-shaped piece. There are two small, sparkling, clear rhinestone eyes. Finally, at the end of each antenna there is a coral colored plastic bead. All this texture, color and dimension come together in a beautiful pin that is sure to be a treasured piece of your jewelry collection.

There is no clouding to either rhinestone eye. There are no scratches, spots or nicks to any of the plastic pieces or any of the simulated pearls. All pieces are securely set. There is no gold tone plating loss to the wings at all. The pin backing is tight and secure, and the safety clasp is tight, secure, and works like new. There is very, very minor wear to some of the gold tone on the antennae, but it is not distracting or detracting at all. All parts are original to this piece--no replacements. What a beauty!
