The diameter is 6.75" and the height is 6" ( 17.2 x 15.3 cm ). The eagle's wingspan is 6" across ( 15.3 cm ). The 4 lower agates are 1" in diameter, the top one being slightly smaller.

Superb mid-19th c Figural Gilt Bronze Inkwell in outstanding condition! I refrained from polishing it, that's up to the next owner. No dents or gouges, just a hairline crack to the Agate that tops the "globe", hard to see without magnification. The glass liner is contemporary. It fits perfectly. The eagle is realistically & skillfully modeled. Please note that all Agates are surrounded by delicately incised sunflowers. Stands on attached circular base. Unmarked but certainly English.
