The Case ( see Berg 1-53) , Melainotypes, (early heavy tintype) Brass mats & Retainers are AUTHENTIC & ORIGINAL. The Thermo Plastic Union case, also referred to as Gutta Percha, was made by A.P. Critchlow & Co. of CT and MA. They were in business between 1853 and 1857 before selling out to Littlefield, Parsons & Co.
