To view other majolica I have listed just type the word in the search window on the upper left. This is a large piece at 11.75" DIA. and 8" high. This magnificent Cheese Keeper is Majolica glazed Ironstone. The traditional Victorian Majolica as we know it is glazed Earthenware. The lead glazes were also applied to other ceramics such as Parian Ware or Ironstone as mentioned. The piece here is a fabulous rich cobalt blue with the raised floral decoration hand-painted in mat olive greens ...
