Exquisite Limoges Art Nouveau figural portrait plate of a beautiful young lady in the Mucha style, painted in the Art Deco period, C1920 and signed by the artist. This unusual Limoges portrait plaque painted in various shades of lavender and white features the mixtion technique with some transfer but predominately hand painted with the lovely lady surrounded by winter snowdrop flowers, which are especially beautiful and very rarely seen hand painted upon vintage china. Masterfully painted by a well known French decorating firm c.1920, known for very high quality figural and portrait artwork and signed by the artist (I have provided pictures of the signature). It is pierced through the back rim for hanging. This beauty measures 9 3/4" in diameter and is in Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs and bears an authentic French backstamp which reads Lazeyras, Rosenfield and Lehman, Mark 2 (in green).
