This Grand Tour letter opener has a Sterling handle with Ivory blade which has extensive carving at the bottom. It is set with a Stan-hope of the Madonna with Child which says: "N-D. de Laghetto" (The N-D is for Notre Dame). On the blade, in blue calligraphy it is written: "St. de N.D. de Leagheto". It is 8 3/8" long and has several hallmarks. It is in excellent condition with the Ivory blade in perfect condition with no damage. We guarantee our items to be as described.
