American Modern, manufactured by the Steubenville Pottery of Ohio and introduced in 1938 was Russel Wright's first triumph in remaking American dinnerware for the way people actually lived and ate. It was a landmark in modern design, and all the dinnerware lines which followed it owe something to it.

These are the lug-handled fruit bowls in Coral pink.

They're 6.375" across the handle, 5.25" in diameter and 1.75" tall.

Condition: as new, no wear or damage.

Mark: some are marked with the impressed Russel Wright by Steubenville, others are not
