Viking Flaminco Bluenique & Crystal Swung Vase

A beautiful modern vase by Viking Glass. This piece was made as part of a subset of their Epic line called "Flaminco". it was introduced in 1959 and discontinued before the 1961 catalog, making these piece hard to find.

The vase is crystal cased over a base of Bluenique. It was manufactured in the footed, six-petal vase mold, but the unique shape was created by cutting the foot off and polishing the bottom of the piece.

It's 16.25" tall and 3.5" in diameter across the bottom.

Condition: light wear to the polished bottom. otherwise fine.
