The Wedgwood plate is Queensware (creamware) and has an embossed border border of laurel leaves with a profile portrait of Franklin at the top and the school seal at the bottom.
The center illustration, titled "The Evans institute Portal" was rendered by Douglas D Ellington ('12) who was a well-known professor of architecture.
The plate is 10.25" in diameter.
condition is near mint: there are three or four scratches to the surface of the plate and the back is crazed. Otherwise fine.
Marked with the usual Wedgwood marks and dated 1940.
