The jar stands 5.675" tall and is 5.25" in diameter. It has metal mounts on the top and bottom and a metal lid.
Condition overall is excellent; the Jasper body in near mint, with no wear or damage. The metal mounts are another story. They were originally silver plate, but it appears that the plating wore through with use and polishing, exposing the brass below. Someone then covered the metal in some sort of wash which has given it the look of pewter.
The pottery is marked "WEDGWOOD" and "England" which dates the piece to 1891-1900. The metal lid is marked "EPNS " with a hallmark of "JB" in a heart.
