The jug is decorated with sacrifice scenes and a border of swags and medallions at the top.
Size: 5" tall and 6.25" from handle to spout.
Condition: The interior of this jug is glazed (as all Jasper that was meant for use once was), but the glaze was not thick enough. This allowed milk to soak through into the stoneware. The fat in the milk discolored the pottery, leaving light brown spots which can been seen in the interior.
The jug is marked on the bottom "WEDGWOOD" and "ENGLAND", which dates it to 1890-1910.
