Wedgwood Sage Green Jasper Ware Posy Pot or Vase

This is a great piece of Wedgwood Jasperware. It's an older shape, listed as #2391 by Wedgwood. It's a posy pot, and given the shape and decoration, this shape almost certainly dates to the 19th century.

This example is of more recent production, dating from the 1970's. This vase is decorated with two scenes separated by an elaborate decorative element on either side. The two scenes on this piece are "Aurora in her Chariot" and "Cupid Asleep."

The vase is 3.75" tall and 3.125" in diameter at the mouth..

Condition is near mint; no wear or damage, only slight soiling on the bottom rim.

Piece is marked: "WEDGWOOD" (sans-serif), "MADE IN ENGLAND" (sans-serif), PC, O, 76.
