A Wedgwood Jasperware bottle vase in cobalt blue dipware. From the late 19th century until the end of WWII, Wedgwood manufactured Jasperware by covering (dipping) white Jasper in the intended color and then applying the sprigged ornaments. In this case, the dip is bright cobalt blue. The vase is decorated with four white reliefs of putti playing music and a shepherd and shepherdess. The vase is 4.875" tall. A very large Wedgwood water pitcher in cobalt blue dip Jasperware. This is an "Upright" shape jug with a rope handle, which Wedgwood produced in many different sizes.
