A fine example of mid-century Modern dinnerware, the (originally) all-white Romance/Romanze pattern was designed by Bjorn Wiinblad and put into production by Rosenthal China in 1959. The pattern derives its decoration from its figured surface, which is covered in ovals, rays and dots, producing subtle patterns which draw the eye to the piece.
