This Uniquely Distinctive, One-Of-A-Kind Wearable Art Necklace has been created with a AMAZING ITALIAN MORETTI GLASS LAMPWORK FLORAL KITTY FOCAL ... measuring a Substantial 1 1/2 Inches in Height x 1 1/4 Inches in Width x just over 1/2 Inch in Thickness. The Talented U.S. Glass Lampwork Artist resides in California (and this piece is signed by the artist - on the back).

The Necklace Portion, measuring 20 Inches in Length is compromised of Matching Floral Lampwork Beads measuring 8 mm x 12 mm - 10 mm x 15 mm (25.4 mm = 1 Inch) with complementary in color, 4 mm Bicone & 8 mm Facet Cut Swarovski Crystal in Teal Blue Indicolite, Green Peridot & Orange Fire Opal. The Toggle Clasp is Gold Vermeil (Vermeil is Carat Gold Electroplated over Sterling Silver, and I use 22K Gold Vermeil in my creations).

If you are new to Glass Lampwork Art, each bead is Individually hand crafted by heating solid glass rods to a molten state … the beads are created by wrapping and layering the molten glass around a steel rod (which becomes the bead hole). Depending on the skill of the Glass Lampwork Artisan, the end result can be phenomenal ! Lampworking involves carefully manipulating hot molten glass ... and no paint or painting is involved ! All of the U.S. Glass Lampwork Artisans that I purchase from … additionally kiln anneal their beads - hot beads are placed in a digitally controlled kiln, which allows the beads to cool at the same rate (from the inside out) creating a stronger & more durable glass bead (eliminating unexpected breakage).
