These Absolutely Gorgeous Earrings have a Red Core, with a Garland of Vivid Fiery Orange, Yellow & White Blossoms, floating amidst swirling greenery under a layer of clear glass further enhancing the depth & dimension. Hand wire wrapped on Gold Vermeil, and dangling from Gold Vermeil Eurowire Leverbacks, these earrings measure 1 5/8 Inches in Length (just over 1 ½ Inches).

Bead Information (25.4 mm = 1 Inch): 14 mm Round Floral Lampwork Beads - Handcrafted & Properly Kiln Annealed by a Fantastically Talented, U.S. Glass Artisan in New York; 4 mm Fire Opal Swarovski Crystal … Fire Opal Swarovski Crystal is named due to its subtle flashes of Red & Yellow ... a similar characteristic to the way in which a natural opal flashes different colors.

** NOTE ** Vermeil is Carat Gold Electroplated over Sterling Silver, and I use 22K Gold Vermeil in my creations.

If you are new to Glass Lampwork Art, each bead is Individually hand crafted by heating solid glass rods to a molten state … the beads are created by wrapping and layering the molten glass around a steel rod (which becomes the bead hole). Depending on the skill of the Glass Lampwork Artisan, the end result can be phenomenal ! Lampworking involves carefully manipulating hot molten glass ... and no paint or painting is involved ! All of the U.S. Glass Lampwork Artisans that I purchase from … additionally kiln anneal their beads - hot beads are placed in a digitally controlled kiln, which allows the beads to cool at the same rate (from the inside out) creating a stronger & more durable glass bead (eliminating unexpected breakage).
