I am again allowing customers the opportunity to submit a reasonable offer on some items. When deciding how much to offer on an item, please recognize that each seller on Ruby Lane has spent considerable time and has made a substantial financial investment in order to bring you quality items. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find desirable pieces. Please consider these points when devising your respectful offer.
Return Policy

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
B'DAZZLED offers first class shipping through the United States Postal Service, unless the buyer requests priority mailing. On larger or more fragile items that would be safer in a box, we generally ship priority.
We offer private insurance for a flat rate of $1 for up to $100, $2 for up to $200, $3 for up to $300, etc. My insurance carrier has a $300 limit per package, so purchases in excess of that amount will be split into additional shipments.
Restocking Fee:
Because Ruby Lane and its individual shop owners value our customers, we want you to be happy with your shopping experience. It is our policy to allow you to return any item with which you are not happy, provided that it is in the same condition as it was when sent. Because of expenses associated with a merchandise return (removal of item from inventory, shipping materials and postage), it is necessary to charge a 20% restocking fee on all returned items. Postage will not be refunded. No restocking fee will be charged in instances where we have made an inadvertent error in our description of the item.

I accept (and prefer) PayPal. I also accept money orders and cashiers checks. Because I have received bad checks, I will not longer accept them for a purchase.
IN CASE YOU DO NOT HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT, I AM NOW ABLE TO ACCEPT CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS VIA PROPAY. YOU MAY USE YOUR VISA, MASTERCARD, OR AMERICAN EXPRESS. YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER, CARD TYPE, NAME AND COMPLETE ADDRESS OF INDIVIDUAL TO WHOM THE ACCOUNT IS REGISTERED, AND EXPIRATION DATE. YOU MAY PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION TO ME IN A SERIES OF EMAILS OR BY TELEPHONE.
Payment must be made within 7 days of purchase or the item will be returned to the store. If you have changed your mind after having made a purchase order, please communicate with me. If I do not hear from you, I will assume you are not a serious customer and you will be blocked from the store. Layaway (30 days) is available for items or total purchases in excess of $100. As a courtesy, please discuss this with me in advance.
Let us talk about CONDITION, and how we construe it here at B'dazzled. These are antique and vintage items, meaning they have some age to them (at least 30 years, and at times, more than 100 years). Given that fact, it is more usual than not that they have been enjoyed by their previous owners. It is not often that I am lucky enough to have items that are mint with tags, but I sure love it when it happens! Here is my personal condition scale:
Mint with Tags: This essentially means that the item was purchased and never worn/used and the tags were left intact. Yippee!
Excellent Vintage Condition: That means the item probably was worn/used, and has slight indicators of that fact. Since I deal primarily in vintage and antique jewelry, one would see, for example, minor signs of usage under a jeweler's loupe. There could be slight finish wear to the back of a piece or a very minor surface scratch to a rhinestone, visible under a loupe.
Good Vintage Condition: That means that the item was definitely worn/used and shows some indicators of that when closely scrutinized. However, any wear is minor and does not detract from the wearability and overall appeal of the piece. I will described specifics of any wear observed.
It would be highly unusual for me to list any item that is not in at least "good vintage condition." Fair condition is not good enough for my customers.
There will be occasions when I overlook an "issue." It happens. So, please be so kind as to advise me of that and accept my sincere apologies for any disappointment you may experience.
