Magnificent MATISSE "Dawn" Enameled Copper Set!

This is another treasure from my own collection of beautiful MATISSE! This California company began in the mid-1940s and continued in operation until 1964. Their designs were exciting and there quality was exceptional! This is a more rare design and it is in excellent condition -- no chips. Under a loupe one can see some below-the-surface lines on the curves as that is a stress point. They are not surface and are not in danger of chipping. The necklace is signed on the hook. It measures up to 18 1/2" in length, with the design being 10" and ab out 1 1/4" at the center.

The matching earrings are clips are are signed on both. Each measures 1 1/4" by 7/8".

Beautiful set in a turquoise blue with gold glitters! Yum!
