Lovely 1920s Faux Tortoise Celluloid Vanity Set!

Here is a 1920s celluloid dresser or vanity set by DuBarry in faux tortoise shell. Included are the tray, powder box with lid, 2-piece hair receiver, and a covered box with has two compartments inside.

My research indicates this set was made by Du Barry, although none of these pieces is marked as such. All the pieces are in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Neat effect with the tortoise look!

The tray measures 12 1/2" by 7 5/8"; the hair receiver is approximately 4 1/2" across by 1 3/4" tall. The powder box has the same measurements. The two section covered box measures 6 1/4" long by 3 1/4" wide by 1 1/2" deep.

Very attractive set for display in your bedroom or bathroom!
