These would make great sunglasses -- or use them for everyday! They are a platinum silver color, but are carved out with some gold highlights, too. The piece across the bridge of the nose is gold plated. Condition on these is very good! The inside is marked AMERICAN OPTICAL and ALUM (presumably aluminum) and 5 1/2. They measure 5 1/8" across the front.
