This is an absolutely amazing dresser set -- really the most beautiful one I have ever, ever seen! These pieces were made by APOLLO STUDIOS of NEW YORK, a division of Bernard Rice & Sons, and were made between 1909 and 1922. This company was a contemporary of Tiffany Studios. Their items were offered for sale in the prestigious Ovington's on Fifth Avenue in New York. Ovington's sold china, crystal, fine art, silver and hand painted portraits on ivory, among other things.
