1950s Orlon Acrylic Featherknits Cardigan Sweater with Metallic Embroidery - Medium

The label reads, “Look Sweeter in a Sweater” – and you will, when you wear this wonderful vintage Orlon acrylic cardigan sweater with metallic embroidery that dates to the late 1950s to early 1960s.

The rich color of vanilla ice cream, this sweater has a jewel neckline and buttons up the center front with self-fabric covered buttons. The sweater is decorated with gold metallic embroidery in a floral design over the entire sweater. The embroidery is accented with satin stitched areas in the center of the flowers and leaves.

In excellent condition – it doesn’t appear to have ever been worn. It’s clean and ready to wear!

Medium – approximate measurements

Bust: 41” Back Shoulders: 15 ½” Length: 22 ½” Sleeve Length: 20”

Measurements are taken with the garment on a flat surface then the measurement is taken across and doubled. Bust – armpit to armpit, Waist – at the waist seam or the narrowest area, Hips – 6” below waist, Length – from the collar at the shoulder to the hem, Shoulders – across the back of the garment from the top of the sleeve seams.
