Stunning mid-70s 'Prairie Princess' lace and ruffles bridal, bridesmaid, or prom gown pattern, with detachable train, Simplicity #6888. The dress with optional lining has skirt back gathered to bodice back above normal waistline, back zipper, set-in sleeves gathered to armholes, self fabric tie ends caught in side front seams, and a lower ruffle. Views 1 and 2 or 3 with long sleeves has yoke front and back, high round neckline, stand up collar and lace edging with lace trim. Views 1 and 2 feature lace yoke and lace overlays for front and one ruffle section. View 3 with ruffled detachable train of dress fabric has contrasting yoke and sleeves and purchased appliques. Views 4 and 5 have sweetheart neckline and short puff sleeves gathered with elastic casings forming self ruffle. A vintage Size 12, with measurements: Bust 34", Waist 26 1/2", Hip 36". The pattern is in Uncut, factory folded mint condition, complete with all directions sheets. The envelope has considerable top wear, with paper chipping, corner tears and 2" back rip, flap discoloration.
