Very large aluminum religious medal, circa 1960s, with St. Joseph and the infant Jesus on the front, with a prayer for intercession around the outside rim which reads: St. Joseph-Powerful Interceder-Pray For Us and Our Children. The reverse has a depiction of the PIETA pose, with the crucified Jesus in his Mother Mary's arms, with the outside rim reading: Most Sorrowful Heart of Mary-Have Pity on Us and Our Children. The aluminum has a blue undertone, is very light in both color and weight, with a detailed beaded edge, and measures a huge 2" long (no chain). A very lovely and collectible piece, from the estate of a Catholic missionary, it is in Excellent condition. No flaws noted. Free U.S. Shipping on All Shop Items.
