Gorgeous vintage embossed Pure Silk dress by the late and revered designer Oleg Cassini, legendary as Jackie O's favorite designer. The styling of the dress is sophisticated, with deep plunging neckline (secured by a modesty snap) on a bodice that is side wrapped to the waist. The skirt is draped in the front, and the skirt fabric ruched to create a hip side ruffle~a take on the flattering classic sarong shape. This gorgeous side wrap effect visually brings the bodice and skirt together at the bow, creating that desirable 'hour glass' figure. From the back, the dress magically looks like a classic sheath, with 21" hidden center seam zipper and 4" hem slit. Typical of late 1970s design, the dress has soft, natural shoulder pads. The Silk print is an exquisite abstract floral, a bit bold and sophisticated. The dress is tagged a Size 14, with generous measurements: Bust 40", Waist 30", Hips 42". Dress Length (back of the neck to hem) 45". The dress is in Near Mint condition, with one TINY less than a pinhead sized dot on the bodice near the right shoulder seam, created by brooch attachment~not visible and certainly not an 'issue'.
