Fantastic Vogue Pattern Book International for April/May 1970, with 88 pages of the best vintage Mod designs including full color layouts for famous designers such as Guy Laroche, Pierre Cardin, Valentino, Givenchy, Pucci, Bill Blass, Fabiani and many others. The bi-monthly magazine has regular features such as Editor's Notebook and Beauty Bar, in addition to many special features like Couture Touch: How To Sew With Border Designs; The Beautiful Button Conspiracy; 1970s Print Expo; Wedding News: A Shower of White (with AMAZING Couture bridal gown designs, several of which I have for sale in this shop); Dresses To Knit, Miss Vogue etc. The pages are packed with magnificent color photos of the completed pattern designs, the pictures shot in Italy, France, St. Tropez and many other exotic, beautiful locales. It also has pages of wonderful collectible ads of the era. A 'must have' reference for the Mad For Mod fashions enthusiast, clothing designer, or serious seamstress' book shelf. It is in Excellent to Near Fine condition, with only a tiny spot of bumping to the spine bottom corner. Covers are barely opened and umblemished, pages are bright white and tight, with no writing or stains.
