Stunning 'modern' 1963 bridal gown or bridesmaids pattern, Simplicity #5343, in two lengths and detachable train. This is the first of the really versatile wedding gown designs that emerged in the early 1960s in response to the chic little sleeveless jacket dresses made so popular by Jackie Kennedy. Sewn in two lengths, the sleeveless dress features a fitted bodice with lowered round neckline; skirt with soft pleats at waistline; back zipper closing. Jacket has high round neckline, set in sleeves, bow trim at back closing. A wedding gown that can be made in full or cocktail length~perfect! A vintage Size 14, fitting measurements: Bust 34", Waist 26", and HIp 36". The pattern is in Cut apart neatly folded Excellent condition, Complete with all directions sheets. The envelope has light wear, with corner wrinkling, tears, center back top tear; partially missing top flap.
