Old Image On Wood~Renaissance Madonna Receiving The Annunciation

Lovely old image on wood of a Renaissance Madonna Mother of God receiving The Annunciation. The gold Halo around her head reads 'Receiving The Whole Word' (Recevia Celi Letare) and Angels and Cherubs fill the sepia background. There are minor rubs to the image, including some scratching and small losses, as well as to the stained wooden plank on which it is displayed, having rub wear at the edges and corners, scratches and rough finish on the sides. There is part of an address label attached to the back left corner. The front of the board has gold-olive-red tones in the stain; the back color has more of a mahogany shade to the finish. Not 'fine art' but worthy of inclusion on an altar or to hang as part of a collection, It currently has no hanging hardware on the back. it is in Very Good condition, measuring 8 7/8" tall by 8 1/8" wide by 3/4" deep.
