Glossy 1965 No. B8 Nos Elegantes Bicyclettes Art Nouveau-era design French postcard 'American Crescent Cycles' published by Francois Nugeron. The painting on which the advertisement was created is very Alphonse Mucha in style, with his dramatic ochre, orange, white and black color palette and his signature trumpet Lily flowers. The large 4 1/4" by 5 7/8" postcard is in Excellent condition with one light soil spot to the verso and bumping to two corner tips. Postally unused. No writing or stains. Very slight surface crease to bottom right front center, not visible unless turned into strong light. Does not crease the card through to the verso. Shipped in a rigid vinyl sleeve and waterproof mailer for a safe journey.
