I swear that Dorothy McGuire wore these exact shoes in the hit 1950s film, 'Three Coins In The Fountain'! The movie is the 1954 story of three Manhattan secretaries dreaming of finding love in Rome, Italy, and these taupe shoes would have been the 'perfect fit' for corporate secretary Dorothy~stylish, slightly sexy and functional. Best of all, these shoes are in MINT, never worn condition. The vamp has sexy tear drop perforations and peep toes, with contrast tan binding along all openings and the straps, as well as fab Ghillie ties lacing the top. The wedge heel is 2 1/4" tall, ideal for walking and standing in comfort. The stylish vamp details take the shoes to the 'next level' of casual, creating a day look that can be worn with dresses or slacks. The shoes are leather, with only the heels and soles man made. A Size 7.5 (stamped on the vamp), the lacing allows the shoe to be worn by both a standard width or even a bit fuller foot as there is lots of room for adjustment. The shoes have never been on the ground, with no deficits or issues. Stamped with the Carol Brent name and cartouche on the inside of the vamp.
