Delightful signed and numbered Jorgen Jensen-Denmark Modernist pewter pendant necklace, a smiling trunks up Lucky Elephant. The Elephant design is recessed and oxidized, the pewter brushed and simply finished. The back of the 1 3/4" square pendant has two slightly dark marks to the right front side, minor rub wear to the bottom corners and a few small surface scratches consistent with its late 1950s creation. It is signed in the acknowledged script 'Jorgen Jensen' and the number '114', and the word 'Denmark' in regular lettering, left to right. The pendant necklace goes over the head with no closer, measuring 28", and is in Excellent condition.
