Hard to find 1947 'SINGER Home Decorating Guide' sewing book, allowing you to create a beautiful 'Top Design' in your home with ease! The book has complete, lavishly illustrated instructions to make Draperies, construct Slip Covers, and other fabric furnishings (including cutting and lining, making hems, casings, headings and weights). There are chapters on home decor 'specialized' techniques such as Monogramming, covering Vanity Tables, making Slip Covers for the car~even creating Closet treatments. A marvelous book for both the beginning and advanced sewer, it is in Excellent condition, with minor edge wear, light soil and corner creasing to the wonderful pictorial covers. All pages are bright, tight and unmarked. Pages and covers are all firmly attached.
