Lovely petite signed .950 enameled and beaded Silver flower blossom brooch, measuring a petite 1 1/4" The back Silver is hand hammered and has an early open C-clasp closer, signed '950' in the center under the pinset. With a higher Silver content than Sterling pieces created in the U.S. and Great Britain, this French brooch is thin and lightweight, despite being of the highest quality. The drop beading is superb, and the turquoise blue enameling thick and lavish. Normal age related patina has settled into the crevices around the silver beading beautifully and on the reverse, as well~to clean or not. It is in Excellent condition.
