Elegant old black enamel and bright white rhinestone berry and leaf brooch, circa late 1930s. The back of the brooch is brassed, signed 'Made in Austria' in small plaque. The black glass berries are wired under the leaf trio, the black enamel lavish. Each of the leaves have a gilded center vein, hand set with three sparkling rhinestone. There are a few spots of wear and tarnish to the goldplate back finish, consistent with its advanced age, and one leaf has one or two scuffs and flakes of missing enamel and gold trim along the high edge. It is in overall Excellent condition, measuring 2 1/4" long (from leaf stem tip to top of center leaf).
