Lavishly satin-embroidered vintage Aloha top, made for the Hawaiian tourist trade in the early 1960s. An identical 'twin' to the Caro of Honolulu tops we have had in the shop over the last few years, the quality is incredible~the kimono sleeve cuff edges, side seams and front placket have stunning white satin embroidery, with additional floral embellishments at the low front inside an ornate satin stitched 'border' perimeter. The buttons are covered by an inner fabric panel, closing with oyster shell buttons, as was characteristic of the era, according to expert Nancy Schiffer. No size tag, fitting measurements: Bust and Hip 34", Shoulder 15 1/2". It is in Excellent condition, with no flaws noted. Immaculate and ready to wear.
